You will receive a call no later than the day prior to your surgery/procedure with a time of arrival. We understand you’re busy and may rely on someone to transport you to and from our facility. We will do our best to inform you of your arrival time as soon as it is available. 

You must present a photo I.D. (driver’s license, passport, government issued I.D. card) and your medical insurance card at check-in to ensure the information we have on file is accurate and up to date.

Wear comfortable clothing. Avoid wearing jewelry as you will be asked to remove it prior to your surgery/procedure.

Certain surgeries require that you do not operate a vehicle for 24 hours following your surgery. Therefore, you will need to have a driver escort you to and from our facility. A nurse will address the need for a driver during your pre-op call.

If you are awaiting test results from a surgery or procedure you had here, please contact the office of the provider who performed your surgery or procedure. East Freedom Surgical Associates does not provide test results. 

You may receive multiple billing statements from entities other than East Freedom Surgical Associates for the date of your surgery/procedure. In addition to receiving a statement from our facility, you may receive a statement from the provider performing your surgery/procedure, our contracted Anesthesia provider (if applicable), and you may receive a statement from one of our contracted laboratories (if applicable).
